Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas
SUMMARY: My husband bought a special which included 2 drinks or a bottle of wine, 1 appetizer to share, 1 soup or salad per person, and 1 entrĂ©e each. After our meal, I was glad we didn’t pay full price. It’s very frustrating when a steak house is unable to properly cook a steak! The only saving grace was the Spicy Serrano Martini!
- Tartare - Cumin Line Vinagrette, Parmesan Crips, Pickled Carrots
- Soup of the Day - Creamy Carrot and Ginger
- Wedges - Baby Iceberg, Applewood Bacon, Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Tear Drop Tomatoes, Sweet Red Onion
- Black Truffle Asparagus
- Shitake Mushrooms, Young Basil, Ginger Butter
- Filet Mignon 10oz. - Center Cut, The Most Tender Option
- Spicy Serrano Martini
- Can't recall 2nd martini. Something with Berries and Mint
FULL REVIEW: The beef in the tartare was tasty, but it was wrapped in, what tasted like, an old stale parmesan cracker. The soup was smooth, tasty, and perfectly seasoned! I can’t complain about the wedge salad. It had large chunks of bacon (bacon makes everything better) and quite a “bluesy” blue cheese dressing. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful black truffle flavor. The scallops where undercooked and tasted slightly fishy. The Filet was OVERCOOKED and under seasoned. (Thankfully I didn’t pay the full menu price of $44!!). This is just another overpriced “steakhouse” that didn’t properly cook my steak. The berry/mint martini was nothing spectacular; however, I would go back just to have the Spicy Serrano Martini!! Drinks anyone?
