7th rule: You will get to choose where you want to punch your victim.
The 8th & final rule: If you are punched/punch another person.  NO BACKSIES!

Game Details:

1.   You must sign up to be a member.

2.   Your membership lasts one year.

3.   Memberships do not auto-renew, you must sign up each year.

4.   Prior to the beginning of the year, you must create a list of 52 people you would like to punch (one for each week of the year).

5.   You must submit your list to your local Punch Club Official.

6.   You must sign up prior to January 1st of each year, late joiners are not allowed (for example, if you find yourself getting punched multiple times a week, too bad, we don't allow revenge joining.  You must wait for the following year).

7.   You are only allowed to punch one person per week.

8.   You are allowed to punch anyone, even if they are not a member of Punch Club.  Please note, the "Punchee" must be over the age of 18, unless you submit legitimate reasons to punch a teenager.  All documentation will be reviewed by the Punch Club Counsel and their decision will be final.  (Let’s face it; some teenagers just need a good smack upside the head).

9.   You are not allowed to duplicate people on your list.  You may, however, try to convince others to put a person on their list in return for whatever favor or compensation the two of you negotiate.

10. You will be allowed to choose the area of the body to which you will be applying the punch and must inform the “Punchee” of your decision prior to doing so.  (Need ideas?, “America’s Funniest Home Videos” has an entire segment titled "Head, Gut, or Groin").

11. After punching someone on your list, they are not allowed to punch you back, and you are off limits for the rest of that year.  This is officially referred to as "no backsies".  If the victim wants revenge, they will have add you on their list the following year and hope they get to you first.

12. If you have someone on your list who “beats you to the punch” (no pun intended), you must cross them off your list and they remain untouchable by you for the remainder of the year.  However, please refer back to #9.

13. You will not be allowed to substitute a new name in place of a person on your list who punches you first.

14. You will be allowed to remove a person from your list and add a new name, as long as neither the person you are removing nor the person you are adding have already punched you.

15. You may rearrange people on your list, as long as the change does not involve anyone who has already punched you.  For example:  John at work was number 44 on your list, but recently has been even more annoying than usual.  You may move him to a higher position on your list.  Everyone else moves down 1 position automatically.

16. All change requests must be submitted to and approved by your local Punch Club Official.

17. If someone on your list punches you first, that person’s name is automatically removed from your list and remaining names automatically move up one position.

** If you find yourself getting punch weekly, or even multiple times a week.  I would highly suggest working on your “Self-Awareness” skills.  Self-Awareness is having a clear perception of your personality, including strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, beliefs, motivation, and emotions. Self-Awareness helps you understand other people, how they perceive you, your attitude and your responses to them in the moment.  Having better Self-Awareness may help reduce the volume of people who would like to punch you.  So really, this program is all about promoting personal growth while allowing you to manage your anger in a very thought out and structured fashion!
